IVS Iberica has won the tender to install vending machines within the Metro de Madrid metro line in the Spanish capital, Europe’s second-longest metro transport network after London.

A great achievement for the Group, which will see IVS Iberica’s vending services deployed for 49 of the city’s main stations. The installation phase has already begun, but it is only the first step. The vending machines placed in the Metro de Madrid will offer a wide variety of products, including hot and cold drinks and snacks.

Among the offerings consumers can find in the Your Best Break vending machines are major international and national brands in the food market.

In addition, all machines installed in Metro de Madrid will be equipped with the latest technology: telemetry, touch interface, advertising monitors, digital promotions, payment through Coffee cApp, and more.

Moreover, in a clear commitment to sustainability, the vending machines located in the different stations are designed to be efficient by saving energy, using recyclable materials, and processes focused on reducing C02 emissions.

Metro de Madrid’s figures are record-breaking: in the previous year 2022, 572 million people used its transportation service, and iconic stations such as Sol and Moncloa carry more than 17 million passengers annually.
