We are excited to share wonderful news about the Italian Computer Science Olympiad, an extraordinary event that celebrates the ingenuity and creativity of young talent from all corners of our country. This year, the XXIII edition of the Italian Computer Science Olympiad took place from October 12 to 14 at ITI Paleocapa in Bergamo, a city renowned for its culture and history, and which currently shares the title of Capital of Culture 2023 with Brescia.
After a careful territorial selection on April 18, 2023, and the subsequent AlgoBadge selection concluded on July 3, 2023, 105 athletes from all Italian regions were admitted to the national competition. These bright young people were selected from thousands of participants due to their outstanding skills in the field of computer science. In this edition of the Italian Computer Science Olympiad, IVS Italia was proud to support the participants by offering our delicious snacks directly at the event. We provided a variety of snack products to make sure the athletes and their companions had the energy they needed to meet the challenges of the competition. We are happy to have helped make the experience of these young talents even more enjoyable and satisfying. The participants, who came from different regions and with different backgrounds, showed incredible commitment and dedication during the five-hour competition. Accompanied by 37 territorial referees, these students competed with passion and determination, showing the best of their skills in tackling complex computer problems.
The participants also included 15 athletes who were already Probable Olympians in the past edition, young hopefuls who had the opportunity to participate thanks to the training internships and who are still attending secondary school.
